ANNEX 2 - CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE
CCTV
- Will be installed as part of a secure access system for members.
- A notice will be displayed at the entrance to the premises advising that CCTV is in operation.
Bottles and Glasses
- No customers carrying open or sealed bottles or glasses will be admitted to the premises at any time.
- No customers will be permitted to take open containers of alcoholic or soft drinks from the premises.
- All bottles and glasses will be removed from public areas as soon as they are finished with or empty.
Proof of Age Cards
- A proof of age policy to the satisfaction of the police and the Local Authority will be in place.
Drinks Promotions
- Irresponsible drinks promotions will not be permitted.
Notices
- A detailed "Customer Code of Conduct" poster will be displayed warning customers that if they act in an inappropriate manner, they could be barred from all licensed premises in the vicinity.
- Any restrictions on the admission of children to the premises will be displayed outside the premises.
Electrical Safety
- The electrical system, including portable appliances will be inspected and tested annually by a competent person to ensure safety.
- Temporary electrical wiring and distribution systems not installed by a suitably qualified electrician will be inspected and certified by one before they are put to use.
Gas Safety
- The Gas System, including appliances will be inspected and tested by a CORGI registered gas engineer annually and a satisfactory Gas Safety Certificate will be obtained.
- All safety certificates and inspection reports will be kept on site and made available for inspection by officers of relevant statutory bodies.
Provision for Disable People
- When disabled people are present, adequate arrangements will exist to enable their safe evacuation in the event of an emergency.
The Sanitary Accommodation Consists of:
- Male WC, Male urinals and WHB on ground floor level.
- Female/disabled WC and WHB on ground floor level.
First Aid/Public Safety/Emergency Procedures
- All staff will receive suitable training as to what to do in an emergency and in general safety precautions, this will be delivered as part of the staff induction by Jennifer Wreford.
- Regular glass and bottle collections will be undertaken throughout licensed opening hours.
Opening Checks/Inspections
- The manager or senior member of staff will check the premises prior to opening to ensure there are no risks to patrons and that all safety precautions are in place.
Noise
- Patrons will be asked not to stand around talking in the street outside the premises or any car park; and asked to leave quickly and quietly - this will be monitored by the license holder.
- An announcement will be made prior to closing requesting patrons co-operation in leaving the premises and vicinity as quietly and quickly as possible.
- A senior member of staff (manager) will assess the impact of any noisy activities on neighbouring residential premises at the start of the activity/entertainment and periodically throughout the activity/entertainment.
- Management will control the sound levels of the music /entertainment.
Delivery/Collection/Storage Activities
- The delivery of goods is restricted to the normal working day.
- The delivery of goods will be limited in number and/or frequency.
- The handling of beer kegs, bottles and other similar items will not take place in the late evening, at night and during the early morning, when the noise generated could cause a nuisance particularly outside buildings.
- Bottle skips and bins containing cans or bottles will not be emptied outside after closing but will be dealt with the next day during normal office hours.
- The movement of bins and rubbish outside the premises will be kept to a minimum after 23:00.
Control of Litter
Facilities for depositing litter (including cigarette ends) and the collection of litter generated by patrons will be available and maintained where outside areas are provided for the use of patrons.
A proof of age policy agreed by the Police and Local Authority will be enforced.
Specific rules are included in the membership application/rules applicable to the club which refers to anyone under the age of 18.
