ANNEX 2 - CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE
All events will be risk assessed by the Committee and SIA door supervisors will be employed if deemed necessary.
Door supervisors will be employed at all 18th and 21st birthday parties.
A hiring agreement will be in place ensuring the hirer is aware of responsibilities for complying with the hire agreement and the licence conditions.
The premises will be an active member of Cullompton Pubwatch and adopt its policies as long as it exists.
Maximum occupancy figures for the premises will be calculated for the types of event, based on fire safety issues, available floor space and the sanitary accommodation available.
The manager or senior member of staff check the premises prior to opening to ensure there are no risks to patrons and that all safety precautions are in place.
All safety certificates and inspection reports will be kept on site and made available for inspection by officers of relevant statutory bodies.
The hirer of the hall will assess the impact of any noisy activities on neighbouring residential premises at the start of the activity / entertainment and periodically throughout the activity / entertainment and take the appropriate action to reduce that impact such as closing doors and windows and ensuring that they remain closed.
The hirer of the hall will control the sound levels of the music / entertainment.
Suitable signage at the exit to request the co-operation of patrons, in particular to make as little noise as possible when leaving the premises.
Patrons will be asked not to stand around talking in the street outside the premises or any car park; and asked to leave the vicinity quickly and quietly.
Children using the hall will be supervised by parents / adults.
The Challenge 21 photo ID policy will be adopted to prevent sales of alcohol to those under 18.
