ANNEX 1 - MANDATORY CONDITIONS
The supply of alcohol is prohibited: -
a) At a time when there is no designated premises supervisor, or,
b) At a time when the designated premises supervisor does not hold a personal licence.
c) Every supply of alcohol shall be made or authorised by the holder of a personal licence.
(1) The premises licence holder or club premises certificate holder shall ensure that an age verification policy applies to the premises in relation to the sale or supply of alcohol.
(2) The policy must require individuals who appear to the responsible person to be under 18 years of age (or such older age as may be specified in the policy) to produce on request, before being served alcohol, identification bearing their photograph, date of birth and a holographic mark.
ANNEX 2 - CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE
Alcohol will only be sold to hirers of the company's vehicles who must order it at least 24 hours prior to the start of the hire period and it will be supplied subject to the conditions of the contract of hire.
The premises will operate a 'Challenge 21' policy. In line with this, all staff will be trained to ask for photo ID if they are not certain that someone is aged 21 or over and wants an alcoholic drink.
The premises licence holder will oversee all staff training.
All staff will be fully trained and must understand their responsibilities.
A notice will be displayed on the bus stating that a 'Challenge 21' policy is in effect.
