ANNEX 2 - CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE
Alcohol can be sold and regulated entertainment provided from the end of permitted hours on New Year's Eve until the start of permitted hours the following day.
The premises will be a member of Pubwatch and a representative will attend Pubwatch meetings and participate in all initiatives.
No customers will be permitted to take open containers of alcoholic or soft drinks from the premises.
Irresponsible drinks promotions will not be permitted.
The nature, style and operation of any drinks promotions will be reviewed following any issues raised by the Police.
An anti drug policy agreed by the Police and local authority will be in force.
All staff have received suitable training in licensing law, what to do in an emergency and in general safety precautions.
Regular glass and bottle collection will be undertaken throughout opening hours.
A proof of age policy to the satisfaction of the police and the Local Authority will be in place.
Gangways, exit routes and steps will be maintained in good order with non-slippery and even surfaces, edges of steps and stairways will be conspicuously marked.
There will be a 30-minute drinking-up time prior to the premises closing when alcoholic beverages will not be supplied.
Suitable signage at the exit to request the co-operation of patrons, in particular to make as little noise as possible when leaving the premises.
A specific taxi operator will be nominated for staff and customers use. The company's telephone number will be advertised to customers. The operator, and all drivers will be aware that they should arrive and depart as quietly as possible, should not sound vehicle horns as a signal of their arrival or leave engines idling unnecessarily. In addition, staff will leave as quietly as possible, particularly at night and early in the morning.
Management will control the sound levels of the music / entertainment.
Bottle skips and bins containing cans or bottles will not be emptied outside after closing but will be dealt with the next day during normal office hours.
AWP's and cigarette machines will be placed in such a position as to be properly supervised by staff at all times.
