ANNEX 2 - CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE
Alcohol can be sold from the end of permitted hours on New Year's Eve until the start of permitted hours on the following day.
All staff have received suitable training in licensing law, what to do in an emergency and in general safety precautions.
An anti drug policy agreed by the Police and local authority will be in force.
The designated premises supervisor will remain a member of the Crediton Licensees Association so long as it exists.
CCTV will be installed, maintained and operated to the satisfaction of the Chief Officer of Police and Local Authority.
Recordings will be maintained for an appropriate period of time (generally one month- but to be agreed with Police & Local Authority).
If the CCTV equipment is inoperative, the Police & Local Authority will be informed as soon as possible and immediate steps will be taken to put the equipment back into action.
A notice will be displayed at the entrance to the premises advising that CCTV is in operation.
CCTV will be registered under the Data Protection Act 1998 with the Information Commissioner.
All bottles and glasses will be removed from public areas as soon as practicable when they are finished with.
Suitable external lighting will be provided in all public areas.
Fire appliances will be checked annually and replenished if required.
An annual electrical safety check will be carried out by an NICEIC registered engineer.
An annual boiler check will be carried out by a CORGI registered heating engineer.
Emergency lighting will be maintained and regularly tested in all public areas.
All electric circuits will be controlled by over current trips.
All safety certificates and inspection reports will be kept on site and made available for inspection by officers of relevant statutory bodies.
The delivery of goods will be restricted to the normal working day.
Litter bins that are emptied regularly will be provided in the outside drinking area.
The outside drinking area will be closed at 22.00 hours.
Patrons will be asked not to stand around talking in the street outside the premises or any car park; and asked to leave the vicinity quickly and quietly.
To prevent entertainment being intrusive, noise emanating from the premises will not be clearly audible 1 metre from the façade of the nearest residential property.
A proof of age policy to the satisfaction of the police and the Local Authority will be in place.
