ANNEX 2 - CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE
To extend the hours of the occasions list below for regulated entertainment on the premises until 00.30hrs and to extend the provision of regulated entertainment by way of live music and dancing until 01.00hrs and the premises are open to members and guest varied to include 11.00hrs the following occasions:
Easter weekends - Good Friday, Saturday and Monday
Spring Bank Holiday - Friday, Saturday and Monday
August Bank Holiday - Friday, Saturday and Monday
The penultimate Saturday before Christmas when Christmas falls on either a Saturday or Sunday
Christmas Eve
Christmas Day
Boxing Day
On New Years Eve extend the hours of regulated entertainment by way of live music and dancing until 02.00hrs and the hours the premises are open to the public varied to include 11.00hrs until 02.00hrs.
Alcohol shall not be sold or supplied except during permitted hours.
In this condition, permitted hours means:
a) Monday to Thursday 11.00am until 23.00pm, Friday to Saturday 11.00am until 00.30am, Sunday 12.00 until 22.30pm.

b) On New Year’s Eve from the end of permitted hours to the start of permitted hours on the following day.
Restrictions
The above restrictions do not prohibit:
a) during the first twenty minutes after the above hours, the consumption of the alcohol on the premises;
b) during the first twenty minutes after the above hours, the taking of alcohol from the premises, unless the alcohol is supplied or taken in an open vessel;
c) during the first thirty minutes after the above hours, the consumption of the alcohol on the premises by persons taking meals there if the alcohol was supplied as ancillary to the meals;
d) the supply to, or consumption by, any person of alcohol in any premises where they are residing.
Alcohol shall not be sold or supplied unless it is paid for before or at the time when it is sold or supplied, except alcohol sold or supplied with and for consumption at a meal supplied at the same time, consumed with the meal and paid for together with the meal.
The Club shall operate in accordance with the rules submitted with the application.
No alteration shall be made to those rules concerning, the election of members, the sale or supply of alcohol or the use of the premises without the prior consent of the Licensing Authority.
Any other alteration to the rules shall be notified to the Licensing Authority and Police within 28 days.
Consideration will be given to setting capacity limits to prevent overcrowding which could lead to crime and disorder.
Irresponsible drinks promotions will not be permitted.
An anti drug policy agreed by the Police and local authority will be in force.
Any restrictions on the admission of children to the premises will be displayed outside the premises.
The premises will be a member of Pubwatch and a representative will attend Pubwatch meetings and participate in all initiatives.
Only plastic glasses or bottles will be permitted in children’s play areas, beer gardens and recreational areas or in any area where customers are required to remove footwear.
An appropriate method for checking the number of people entering and leaving the premises will be used and steps will be taken so that, once the maximum occupancy is reached, no further persons are admitted.
The provision of plastic glasses and bottles will be reviewed depending on the type of entertainment provided, the number and behaviour of patrons attending.
A means of addressing patrons during operating hours, which can be heard above entertainment, or a means of interrupting the entertainment to make important safety announcements will be available.
The air management system within the premises will be used during entertainment, as there will be insufficient ventilation when all windows and doors are closed, to prevent noise break out.
There will be adequate and appropriate supply of first aid equipment and materials will be available for the use of patrons at all times.
The electrical system, including portable appliances will be inspected and tested annually by a competent person to ensure safety.
All safety certificates and inspection reports will be kept on site and made available for inspection by officers of relevant statutory bodies.
Free drinking water will be available at all times.
All external doors and windows will be kept shut, other than for access and egress in all rooms when events involving amplified music or speech or other entertainment likely to give rise to noise.
Emergency exits will be well fitted and kept shut during opening hours.
Suitable signage at the exit to request the co-operation of patrons, in particular to make as little noise as possible when leaving the premises.
An announcement will be made prior to closing requesting patrons co-operation in leaving the premises and vicinity as quietly and quickly as possible.
A senior member of staff (manager) will assess the impact of any noisy activities on neighbouring residential premises at the start of the activity/entertainment and periodically throughout the activity/entertainment.
Management will control the sound levels of the music / entertainment.
You will employ a method for checking the number of people entering and leaving the premises and ensure that steps are taken so that once the maximum occupancy is reached, no further persons are admitted. The methods employed are tickets only or members guest list checked on the door.
Committee members will check prior to entertainment, and periodically during the entertainment, that all windows and doors are shut.
Committee management will control the sound levels of the music/entertainment.
A proof of age policy to the satisfaction of the police and the Local Authority will be in place.
A limit on the hours when children may be present.
A limitation or exclusion when certain activities are taking place.
The requirement to be accompanied by and adult.
Access may be limited to parts of the premises an age limitation (for under 18’s)
