ANNEX 2 - CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE
No food or drink shall be served to customers in glass receptacles.
The premises must have a digital motion activated CCTV system where images are retained on a hard drive system.
All CCTV equipment must be of a standard suitable to record images of a proper quality, meet the industry standard and have LGC Forensics or Kalagate Certification.
As part of the digital CCTV system an alarm shall sound if the equipment is faulty or not recording, thereby alerting management for the need to intervene.
The CCTV system shall be regularly serviced by qualified maintenance technicians.
Access to the CCTV system will be provided to Police Officers at their request, where reasonable.
A Staffsafe™ system with both audio and visual monitoring capability shall be installed in the premises, which can be activated by either fixed or mobile panic buttons. Once activated the system shall link the premises to an external monitoring centre capable of intervening to resolve crime and disorder issues and/or provide the appropriate advice or instruction to support and protect the premises's staff and customers.
All shift managers shall receive safety and security training; including Maybo SIA accredited Conflict Management Training.
The premises shall be subject to inspections from their own safety and security teams to ensure internal systems are being maintained.
All staff shall receive comprehensive safety training to ensure that safe working methods are adopted.
All staff shall be trained on the premises evacuation procedure in the event of a fire or other dangerous occurrence.
The store shall operate a "No Open Alcohol Containers" policy to prevent persons carrying open alcohol into the in-store area.
The licence holder shall be committed to carrying out litter patrols, collecting their own branded packaging and any other litter that has been carelessly discarded. They shall also act on recommendations from the Environmental Health Officer should it be neccessary to extend the patrol to a nearby area, as far as this is reasonably practicable.
Where it is practical to do so, the premises shall put measures in place to limit noise.
All doors shall be self-closing.
Customers shall be encouraged to be considerate of nearby neighbours and to limit noise both when ordering their food and on leaving the local area.
