General Desription Of The Premises -
INDIAN RESTAURANT FOR EAT - IN AND TAKE AWAY SERVICES.
Conditions offered by the applicant -
General
The Business will promote all the four Licensing objectives firstly, by complying with other legislations such as: Food Safety Act, Health & Safety at Work Act, and Employment Act. CCTV covering internal and external areas of the premises will be installed. Fire Extinguishers will be provided and serviced regularly.
Waste shall be disposed of adequately and deliveries to the premises will be made between 10am - 4pm.
A Challenge 25’ Scheme shall be adopted as the Age Verification Policy at the premises.
Staff members selling alcohol will also be trained to prevent underage sale of alcohol.
The Prevention of Crime and Disorder
A CCTV System shall be installed at the premises.
The CCTV will cover all internal & external areas of the premises, and record images of those coming in and out of the premises.
Recordings shall be kept to the council's specification.
Public Safety
Adequate number and types of fire extinguishers will be provided as well as fire doors, fire alarm, and smoke alarm systems, which will be serviced and maintained.
Staff will be trained on use of fire extinguishers.
Lighting & Ventilation to be maintained in good order, while all electrical equipment will be tested & certified.
Incidence record book will be kept and updated.
First Aid Box with the appropriate accessories will be maintained on the premises.
The Prevention of Public Nuisance
Deliveries to be made between the hours 10am to 4pm.
Wastes shall be maintained and disposed adequately to prevent nuisance to the environment.
Customers will be reminded to leave the premises quietly and not to disturb neighbours.
A signage reminder will be displayed at all exit points of the premises.
The Protection of Children from Harm
Challenge 25’ Scheme shall be adopted as the Age Verification Policy at the premises.
Any person attempting to purchase alcohol who appears to be under the age of 25, shall provide documented proof that he/she is above the Age of 18.
International Passport & Photo card Driver’s License will be the accepted proof of age documents.
Frontline Staff will be trained on the policy.
Record of refusals shall be kept and maintained.
All records to be kept on the premises and made available on request to council’s authorised officers.
