Permitted Activities

• entertainment of a similar description to that falling within entertainment facilities for making music or dancing
• provision of late night refreshment

Additional Conditions

• ANNEX 1 - MANDATORY CONDITIONS

   

  The supply of alcohol is prohibited: -

  a) At a time when there is no designated premises supervisor, or,

  b) At a time when the designated premises supervisor does not hold a personal licence.

  c) Every supply of alcohol shall be made or authorised by the holder of a personal licence.

  ANNEX 2 - CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE

   

  Intoxicating liquor shall not be sold or supplied on the premises otherwise than to persons

  a) To persons taking table meals there and for consumption by such a person as ancillary to his meal.

  b) To persons residing there or to their private friends bona-fide entertained by them at their own expense and for consumption by such persons or their private friends so entertained by them on the premises or with a meal supplied at but to be consumed off the premises.

   

  Suitable beverages other than intoxicating liquor shall be equally available for consumption with or otherwise an ancillary to meals served in the licensed premises.

   

  There shall be afforded in the premises for persons provided with board and lodging for reward adequate sitting accommodation for the service of substantial refreshment or for the supply or consumption of intoxicating liquor.

   

  The above restrictions do not prohibit:

  a) During the first thirty minutes after the above hours the consumption of the alcohol on the premises by persons taking meals there if the alcohol was supplied for consumption as ancillary to the meals;

  b) Consumption of the alcohol on the premises or the taking of sale or supply of alcohol to any person residing in the premises;

   

  Alcohol may be sold or supplied at any time:

  a) On premises which are bona-fide used, or intended to be used, for the purpose of habitually providing for reward board and lodging, including breakfast and at least one other customary main meal;

  b) Subject to the condition that alcohol shall not be sold or supplied on the premises otherwise than to persons residing there or their private friends bona-fide entertained by them at their own expense, and for consumption by such a person or his private friend so entertained by him either on the premises or with a meal supplied at but to be consumed off the premises.

   

  There must be adequate sitting accommodation in a room not to be used for sleeping accommodation for the service of substantial refreshment or for the supply or consumption of alcohol.

  ANNEX 3 - CONDITIONS ATTACHED AFTER A HEARING BY THE LICENSING AUTHORITY

   

  a) The Designated Premises Supervisor or his nominated employee should be present on the premises whenever licensable activities taking place in order to ensure compliance with the conditions of the licence;

  b) The Designated Premises Supervisor or his nominated employee will assess the impact of any noisy activities on neighbouring residential premises at the start of the activity/entertainment and periodically throughout the activity/entertainment;

  c) A suitable notice be exhibited on the village noticeboard not less that 5 days before any event involving fireworks to let local residents know the date and timing of the proposed firework display.

  d) To prevent noise emissions arising from any activity on the premises the noise will not be audible 1 metre from the façade of any residential or noise sensitive property between 11pm and 5 am.

  e) A contact telephone number be made available for local residents whenever licensable activity is taking place on the premises.
