ANNEX 2 - CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE
Prevention of Crime and Disorder
The club will set capacity limits to prevent overcrowding.
Any person who appears to be aged under 21 will be asked for identification if attempting to purchase alcoholic drinks.
Identification that will be accepted are: A valid passport, photographic driving licence or approved identification card carrying PASS logo.
Irresponsible drinks promotions will not be permitted.
An anti drug policy agreed by the Police and local authority will be in force.
We will display appropriate crime prevention notices.
A notice will be displayed setting out the club rules and the consequences of breaking them.
Any restrictions on the admission of children to the premises will be displayed outside the premises.
An incident book will be kept and details of all instances of public disorder will be recorded.
Public Safety
Any drinks taken outside (both alcoholic and soft) will be in plastic receptacles.
Regular glass and bottle collection will be undertaken throughout opening hours.
The air management system within the premises will be used during entertainment, as there will be insufficient ventilation when all windows and doors are closed, to prevent noise break out.
All staff will have received suitable training in licensing law, what to do in an emergency and in general safety precautions.
All safety certificates and inspection reports will be kept on site and made available for inspection by officers of relevant statutory bodies.
Free drinking water will be available at all times.
Prevention of Public Nuisance
All external doors and windows will be kept shut, other than for access and egress in all rooms when events involving amplified music or speech or other entertainment likely to give rise to noise.
A responsible person appointed by the club will assess the impact of any noisy activities on neighbouring residential premises at the start of the activity/entertainment and periodically throughout the activity/entertainment.
Suitable signage at the exit to request the co-operation of patrons, in particular to make as little noise as possible when leaving the premises.
Patrons will be asked not to stand around talking in the street outside the premises or any car park; and asked to leave the vicinity quickly and quietly.
Live music will cease at midnight when the club is open until 0030 hours except on New Year’s Eve.
The delivery of goods will be restricted to the normal working day.
The handling of beer kegs, bottles and other similar items will not take place in the late evening, at night and during the early morning, when the noise generated could cause a nuisance particularly outside the buildings.
Except for security lights all outside lighting will cease after midnight.
Protection of Children from Harm
A parent or responsible adult must accompany children under 16 after 10pm
