  ANNEX 2 - CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE

   

  Unless otherwise stated below the event will take place as detailed in the Event Safety Plan supplied with the application in order to meet the four licensing objectives.

   

  No drumming workshops shall start before 10 am.

   

  All the main drumming classes will be on at the same time from 10 am until 11.30 am. 

   

  Drumming workshops shall not take place on any day between the hours of 12.00 to 14.00 and 16.00 to 18:00.  This does not restrict some dance classes with quiet drumming support.

   

  The main drumming classes will be restricted to the two top fields.

   

  The site managers will be contactable on a 24 hour basis by phone in order to respond to any Environmental Health noise concerns.

   

  Noise monitoring will be carried out by Tribe of Doris staff.

   

  Stewards will be provided at the drum classes to ensure that they finish exactly on time and do not run over into the 'no drumming class' times.

   

  All those attending the event are to be made aware of the noise restrictions.

   

  The noise shall not at a point 1m from the facade of any noise sensitive premises exceed LAeq 55 dB (20 minutes) from 09:00 to 23:00 or 00:30 on Monday morning and LAeq 45dB (5 minutes) at any other time throughout the duration of the event.

   

   

   

   

• ANNEX 3 - CONDITIONS ATTACHED AFTER A HEARING BY THE LICENSING AUTHORITY

   

  The noise management strategy is received from the organisers (and set out above).

   

  There will be no organised drumming after 22:00 from Wednesday to Saturday and no organised drumming after 23:30 on Sunday.

   

  All licensed activities apart from entertainment in the Doris Cafe, late night refreshments and the sale of brandy, will cease at 23:00 Wednesday/Thursday and midnight on Friday/Saturday.  Sunday's licensed events will cease at 00:30 on Monday morning.

   

   

  Agreed Terms in Settlement of the Appeal on 7 August 2008

   

  1              The Doris Café is permitted to have playing of recorded music and the provision of facilities for dancing after the cessation of regulated entertainment on the rest of the site until:

   

  I.              1.30am from Thursday 21 August 2008 until Sunday 24 August 2008; and

  II.              2.30am on Monday 25 August 2008

   

  2              The Doris Café is permitted to sell alcohol in the form of brandy in hot drinks from 8pm until 1am from Wednesday 20 August 2008 until Sunday 24 August 2008 and from 8pm on Sunday 24 August until 2am on Monday 25 August 2008.

   

  4              The entertainment in the Doris Café shall be inaudible at the boundary of the site every night from 11.30pm.

   

  5              The Doris Café will have signs at the exits asking customers to leave quietly and be mindful of local residents.
