ANNEX 2 - CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE
When the hall is hired out the hirers will sign a hiring agreement that sets out their awareness of conditions attached to the hire and the use of the licence, including a responsibility to ensure compliance.
When public events involving live bands or discos are held a minimum of two SIA registered door staff must be employed. When the hall is hired out for private parties the Hall Management Committee shall make a risk assessment to decide whether the hirer should employ SIA registered door staff.
No bottles to be sold over the bar with the exception of bottles of wine provided to tables at events judged appropriate for such service by the Hall Committee.
No drinks will be allowed off the premises.
All drinks will be supplied in polycarbonate/toughened glass.
Any person who appears to be aged under 21 will be asked for identification if attempting to purchase alcoholic drinks.
Identification that will be accepted are: A valid passport, photographic driving licence or approved identification card carrying PASS logo.
All hirers of the hall will be briefed by the Hall Management Committee on the hall’s emergency procedures and general safety precautions.
All safety certificates and inspection reports will be kept on site and made available for inspection by officers of relevant statutory bodies.
Doors and windows will be kept closed when entertainment is provided and the air conditioning in the hall shall be used.
The sound-limiting device will be used when entertainment takes place and will be set at a level to prevent nuisance to adjoining premises. The efficacy of this setting is to be monitored on a regular basis whilst entertainment takes place.
A programme of works to provide further sound insulation shall be carried out.
Hirers of the hall will comply with Hall Management Committee’s child protection policy and code of practice as supplied to the Council.
